Mumbai Titans Graphic Novel Officially Released

 

Indian creator Ananth Maruthi has officially released his graphic novel Mumbai Titans. The book is a doujin manga, an independent tribute work, created with deep respect for Attack on Titan and its director Tetsurō Araki, whose visual style and storytelling have had a lasting global impact on manga and anime.

Mumbai Titans reimagines the concept of “Titans” through an Indian lens, rooting the narrative in Mumbai’s people, history, and cultural spirit. The work is positioned as a creative homage rather than an imitation or replacement, reflecting a conscious and respectful engagement with its inspiration.

The release marks a significant milestone for Indian independent creators, highlighting India’s growing participation in global manga culture and the emergence of doujin practices within the country. For Maruthi, the project also stands as a sincere artistic salute to one of anime’s most influential directors. The graphic novel has been released under the banner of StudioKapi0369.

प्रोफेसर अश्वत्थामा 3 - समीक्षा और फ़ैन आर्ट (दीपक पटेल)

प्रोफेसर अश्वत्थामा (Cheese Burger Comics) के 2 भाग पहले पढ़ चुका था, मुझे यह सीरीज वैसे भी बहुत पसंद है ,आज तीसरा भाग पढ़ा और यह अपने पिछले दोनो भागों की कहानी को बढ़िया तरीके से आगे बढ़ाता है और साथ ही अश्वत्थामा और DJ दोनो के किरदार पर एक रहस्य की परत चढ़ाता है जिससे कहानी से लगाव बढ़ता ही है , आखिरी में हनुमान जी की एंट्री भी जबरदस्त है ,कहानी सिंपल है और अच्छी है , इस भाग के चित्र पहले की तुलना में बेहतर हैं और काफी बढ़िया लगते हैं , जब मुझे किसी कॉमिक्स को पढ़ने में मजा आता है तो मैं उसकी कमियों पे ध्यान नहीं देता तो कमियां मुझे इस कॉमिक्स में दिखी नहीं, उम्मीद है आगे के भाग भी अच्छे होंगे ।
