चाचा चौधरी , साबू, बिल्लू, पिंकी और श्रीमती जी का नाम किसने नहीं सुना !

ख़ुशी इस बात की है कि इनके रचियता यानि भारत देश को स्ट्रिप कॉमिक्स देने वाले पद्मश्री  स्वर्गीय  श्री प्राण साहब की बायोग्राफी जब खुद इसकी लेखिका और प्राण साहब की धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती आशा जी के नोट और हस्ताक्षर के साथ मिले! 

धन्यवाद आदरणीय आशाजी ! इस अनुपम कृति के लिए ! आपने जिस भाव से इसे लिखा है मानो मैं प्राण साहब पर बनी फिल्म देख रहा हूँ ! आपने भावों से भरी प्याली में सरल भाषा के चम्मच से आत्मीयता घोल दी  है  ! उनके इतने भावुक, प्रेरक और ज़बरदस्त व्यक्तित्व को पढ़ कर मैं उनका और बड़ा प्रशंसक हो गया ! 

विशेषकर  चमचमाती राजदूत से पार्लियामेंट का चक्कर वाली बात ! आपकी कसूर ट्रिप और पुश्तैनी घर की बात हो ! गाज़ियाबाद से आये छोटे बच्चे का किस्सा या विदेश से आये जॉन लेंट ! सब कुछ अद्भुत है ! आपको बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद प्राण साहब के व्यक्तित्व से हम सभी को मिलवाने के लिए ! आशा है आपसे इस जीवन में एक बार ज़रूर भेट होगी ! 

दोस्तों ! भारत के बच्चों को अपने देसी कार्टून देने वाले इस महान आर्टिस्ट की जीवनी मेरी नज़र में प्राण  ज़रूर पढ़िए , आशा प्राण द्वारा लिखी गई इस किताब के माध्यम से जिसने भारत के बच्चों के बचपन में बेतहाशा खुशियाँ दी थें तब जब टीवी दुर्लभ था , मोबाइल नहीं था और इन्टरनेट जन्मा भी नहीं था ! 

आज भी याद है मुझे ! कम्प्यूटर शब्द मैंने सबसे पहले चाचा चौधरी की कॉमिक्स में ही पढ़ा था जहाँ नीचे फुटर में लिखा होता था कि चाचा चौधरी का दिमाग़ कम्प्यूटर से भी तेज़ चलता है !
