Unveiling Devotion Through Art: Mrinal Rai’s Hanuman Chalisa for All Ages

On this auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Mrinal Rai has shared something truly special with the world, his latest offering: an illustrated book on the Hanuman Chalisa, titled "Sachitra Hanuman Chalisa."

While millions recite the Hanuman Chalisa daily, few take the time to dive deep into its meaning, especially in a way that connects with young minds and visual learners. Mrinal bridges this gap beautifully, combining his love for devotion, art, and education. Each verse is explained in simple language and accompanied by hand-drawn sketches of Lord Hanuman by Mrinal himself.

This is more than a devotional book, it's a creative guide, a teaching tool for kids, and a visual treat for Hanuman Bhakts.

Review Summary of "Ab Delhi Door Nahin" by Vinmics (Sandeep Juyal)

"Ab Delhi Door Nahin." Written by the legend Tarun Kumar Wahi and illustrated by the renowned Dilip Chaubey, this comic piqued interest, especially for those who admire Chaubey's art, reminiscent of his work on "Tiranga."

Cover Art

The cover features the hero surrounded by zombies in colorful attire, giving off a festive vibe. It's an overall good cover, but the festive look of the zombies might not appeal to everyone.

Storyline

The storyline was found to be average. As a genre, zombie stories have been extensively covered in movies, leading to a sense of predictability. The plot revolves around a virus spreading through zombie bites, endangering an entire city. The narrative felt repetitive, lacking the thrill and suspense that a ghost-themed story might offer. The hero, 'Bhootnashak Mantra,' could have been better utilized in a different context.

Artwork

The highlight of the comic is its artwork. The illustrations, filled with nostalgia and vibrant colors, stand out and offer a visual treat. However, the attire of the hero and villain seemed out of place for the year 2032, needing some modernization.

Conclusion

While the story disappointed, the artwork was praised. As the first issue, it holds promise, but there's a desire for fresher and more innovative storytelling in future releases.
